Theistic Satanism

Insofar as Satanism is a religious movement or subculture featuring those who associate or ally with something they call 'Satan', so is a theistic Satanist one who associates or works with gods, or at least allows that deities are real and perhaps even thinks of Satan as a god.

Some place the name 'Theistic Satanism' as a brand or trademark around what they regard as their particular type of Satanism, and in this way it can begin to mean much more than this generic sense above.

One of the most important Theistic Satanists (founding the Church of Azazel) was Diane Vera.
