Since the dawn of our species we have sought to negotiate toward our desires and needs with practical forces and personal agents we could recognize. Wielding a blade bathed in a full evening's light of a Blue Moon, honed to sharpness and never before having tasted blood, slice a portion of your skin associated by emotional intensity and symbolism as to its location (i.e. your chest, wrist, hand, face, or genitals), and use the sanguinary issue to sign a contract of sale.
