Setianism

A type of Neopaganism largely fomented by Michael Aquino in association with his departure from the Church of Satan. As he conceived of it, his Temple of Set features a Hermetic ascension grade system, a cosmology of Logos (Xeper), a scripture of revealing ("The Book of Coming Forth By Night"), and an ideology whereby Set interacts with or is featured as an aspect of human consciousness.

Several such parallel constructs have emerged since Aquino's temple, and these focus on the Egyptian deity Set within a supposed eclesiastic veneration from ancient times past, and vary in character and ideology.
