           I would like to begin this statement not as your everyday
          Satanist's disclaimer, but as a person who has known about
     Satanism even before becoming one myself. I would like to clear
           up the myths about Satanism right off the bat. We are not
    devil-worshipers, nor are we serial killers, baby rapers, animal
      killers or otherwise affiliated with such vile acts. We do not
      sacrifice blond, blue-eyed virgins, nor do we commit crimes in
               the name of Lucifer. We are not criminals in any way.
                                                                    
    What we are is a group of people who believe in the pleasures of
   life. We want to make our own lives as beneficial and pleasurable
     to ourselves as we possibly can. We indulge ourselves with what
               makes us happy and we make sure that our pleasure and
    satisfaction comes before all others. We do not believe in Satan
     as an entity, but as an embodiment of all carnal pleasures that
          the Christian society deems sinful. When in all truth, the
      churches of society make these things sinful because they know
    you cannot avoid doing them, therefore you keep them in business
           confessing your so-called sins to guarantee your supposed
   entrance to a place that doesnt even exist. The Christian view of
   Satan and all sinful things is a ploy devised by the church soley
                             to keep the church alive and in power. 
                                                                    
    We as Satanists do not believe in a long dead "god" or in a book
         written by some drunken babylonian a thousand years ago. We
     believe in the natural course of existence, in doing what feels
     good, in making ourselves into our own gods. Taking each of our
      lives into possession and doing what each of us feels is right
   for ourselves, not what society deems is right for us. We are not
       sheep people! Wake up and take charge of your own destiny, of
          your own life. If you do not, you will continue to do what
   society tells you and believe what it tells you when it says "No!
       Bad sheep!" and labels you a sinner. If you do not seek to do
        what feels natural for the human animal, you will be forever
   praying to a defunct god and paying the church's salary until you
      are so convinced that you are damned that you will do whatever
      they tell you, thus forfeiting your freedom to choose your own
                                                        way of life.
